George is a photographer who has been exhibiting for over 20 years in numerous group exhibitions including the renowned ‘7’ exhibition in Berlin and ‘Body’ a collaborative project exploring the concept of differing abilities in society and the physical and mental challenges we experience as individuals.  In recent years he has 2 solo exhibitions ‘People, Places and Things’ which reflected his experiences in South Africa and ‘My Olympics’ unusual sites in London in 2012.

He is a former chairperson of Creative Exchange and a Board member of the East Belfast Collective/ Engine Room Gallery.

For me photography is immediate and allows us to observe a reality of familiarity. Through the composition of isolation it allows me to share a journey.  In my work I aim to capture a perspective that has its own story to tell and communicates to the audience various cultural experiences.
